As the process of globalization continues to advance, according to the United Nations report, in 2019, 272 million of the world's 7.7 billion people were transnational immigrants, as well as countless domestic immigrants. Regional differences are also decreasing along with population movements. At the same time, urbanization requires a large influx of people, and cultural integration continues to ferment in major cities, bringing about global convergence.
