The Distance Unseen

is a photographic exploration of the lives of teenage immigrants and ethnic minorities in Queensboro, focusing on their school and living environments and the 'distances' they feel from mainstream society, their homelands, and even their own communities.

This project is supported by funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Statewide Community Regrants Program, and administered by Flushing Town Hall.
